Mission Statement
The primary mission of the Silver Lake Fire Voluntary Fire Department is the preservation of life, and the protection of property, within the Village of Silver Lake, WI. We also provide apparatus and manpower assistance to other area communities and Fire Departments through the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS).
As members of this department, we take great pride in performing this mission to the best of our ability. Each member of the department must successfully complete, as a minimum, a state recognized basic fire fighting training course, as well as complete and maintain state certification as an Emergency Medical Technician. We regularly train within our department, as well as participate in training evolutions with other area Fire Departments.
